A note on "builders" etiquette:  While everyone may be interested in these projects please give some consideration to this:  "Every hour a builder spends talking to people interested in the project is one less spent building the boat."  If you are going to contact the builder please be sensitive to this issue.  One builder and dozens of interested folks wanting to know about the project can really put a hardship on the builder time-wise. Some builders clearly state that they welcome inquires while others do not.  Please be considerate and honor those requests.  Building a boat is an all consuming task - every minute counts.
