2001 Tri Dyes Rendezvous

The annual Tri Dyes rendezvous took place on the weekend of July 14,15 this year. It was attended by an interesting mix of boats all the way from a 2 meter RC model tri to an F-27, and a variety of people from toddlers through young adults to grandparents. The traditional Saturday night dinner at Spiro's lived on, as did the traditional lack of sunshine, although at least with a lack of rain this year. We also had a nice potluck on Sunday. Winds were moderate to less than moderate.

Here is a picture of a good portion of the fleet that attended. While they appear equal size, the boats actually are from left to right: the 3 meter SLIME, F-27 CUTTLEFISH, TrailerTri TIGGER and the 2 meter Radio Control tri.
