"I have been trying to decide how to score these events, and because of the varying number of entrants I will give the winner one more point than the number of entrants and the reset of the finisher will receive points in reverse i.e. if you are second in a ten boat race you will get nine points, if you are second in a four boat race you will get three points etc. This system gives the winning boat an extra point for winning and weighs the point for the size of the fleet."
